(Maybe a few more at this point.) The funding for the FHCRC studies was somehow intertwined with the board of director’s at Cell Therapeutics. It led to conflict-of-interest decisions about whether to continue trials on their drug candidate. The drug ended up doing much more harm than good. I think the Seattle Times did a series of articles about the case.
